Family & Consumer Science CTE Teacher

 

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Exempt Position; 10 months (per school year); Full-Time; Starting January 2025

 

QUALIFICATIONS: NC Educator License in Family & Consumer Science or willingness to obtain license. Related degrees at the bachelor’s degree level in family and consumer science, culinary arts, fashion merchandising, nutriti8on, public health, child development, education, psychology, sociology, counseling, birth-kindergarten, social worker, interior design and other related fields will be considered if willing to obtain NCDPI license. This license may be added-on to an existing continuing professional (non-restricted) license with an NCSBE approved specialty area exam.

 

DUTIES: Responsible for the delivery of CTE programming in aligned area as outlined in NC Standard Course of Study, normal duties of a classroom teacher and other duties that may be assigned by the principal or superintendent.
